“What could the Princess want to see me for?” shouted Fiora from her bedroom.
“You’ve got me, though I do have my suspicions” shouted Glenda from the sofa. Fiora then returned from her bedroom before sitting on the sofa where Glenda was sat. “Care to share?” asked Fiora.
“Well, I suspect, it has something to do with that bump of yours” said Glenda pointing to Fiora’s belly. “I’ve been looking into it, now as you know, we do not reproduce like humans do. And when a female human looks like you do now, it’s known as a pregnancy. For centuries, no one in our race has had this so called, pregnancy, look before. Until it happened to you.”
“But, I’ve never been in contact with a human.”
“Exactly. So how has it appeared? Why now?. Why you? The Princess must know of a reason and that’s why she has summoned you. What else could it be? It's the only reason I can think of.”
Fiora took a moment to think; “You know, you could be right. I also would like to know why me too.”
“You’ll need to think really hard, Fiora” said Glenda sitting closer to her friend. “The Princess could ask anything, keep your cool and just try and answer her sensibly.”
Fiora nods; “Yes I agree. Well I’d better get going.” Fiora rose to her feet as did Glenda, “I’ll tag along until at least the Palace gates, then you’re on your own.”
“OK great. Thanks, Glenda.”
With that, the two friends made for the Palace.
The time has come for Fiora to head to the Palace and find out just what is going on. Also a nice, if what little, backstory too. =3
